TENSION SPRINGS
Tension Springs are the opposite of compression springs in that they are close coil springs that absorb and store energy, and that extend when a pulling force is applied.
They have hooks or loops at each end to allow them to be connected to other components. An example of tension springs in operation are those used in trampolines. Tension springs are supplied to all sectors of industry including Aerospace, Ministry of Defence, rail, mining, agriculture, chemical, oil, gas, petrochemical, nuclear, agriculture, food processing and paper industries. |
Tension springs supplied by Lion Springs Ltd are custom made to each customers individual requirements, and are subjected to full traceability throughout production. Certificates of conformance are available if requested.
